1st Part - THE RAVEN AGE

The group, conceived by guitarists George Harris and Dan Wright, was created in 2009 and began to take shape with the entry of bassist Matt Cox in 2012. The following year, the musicians finally made their way to the stage already with Michael Burrough as vocalist and Jai Patel on drums. After their debut in 2014 with a much-applauded homonymous EP and after having been on the road with as reputable bands as Ghost, Mastodon, Gojira, Opeth and Iron Maiden themselves, the London quintet made their debut in the long duration format with the album "Darkness Will Rise", which was preceded by the much applauded single "Salem's Fate".

TREMONTI - guest band

Following a very successful worldwide tour in support of their 16th studio album, "The Book of Souls" in 2016-2017, IRON MAIDEN will return to the road in 2018 for a series of shows at arenas and festivals in Europe. The opening of the Legacy of The Beast World Tour takes place in Talin, Estonia, on May 26 next year and ends up at the O2 Arena in London on August 10, and the legendary British band will be coming to Portugal on July 13 for a unique concert at the Altice Arena in Lisbon. The concept of the Legacy of The Beast World Tour was inspired in the game for cell phone and the book by B.D. of the same name and the stage design for the performances will feature a number of different but interlinked "worlds", with a definite alignment that will cover a large selection of material from the 80s and a few surprises from later albums to add diversity.

Rod Smallwood, Iron Maiden's manager, explains: "As our fans know, we've been following a particular touring cycle ever since Bruce and Adrian rejoined Maiden at the start of the millennium, alternating tours to promote new albums with historical routes, supported by the greatest hits of the group. There are several reasons why we like to work this way, but the most important thing is that we give the band the opportunity to play not only new material, but also all older songs that we already know our followers like to hear. This keeps things fresh, not only for our fans, but also for the group itself.

For this historical tour/successes we decided to base the concept around the name Legacy of The Beast, which fits perfectly with our objectives, giving us the necessary scope so we can create something creative and fun, especially with Eddie! For the moment I don't want to be revealing too much, but we are working on a number of different stages, all of them according to Maiden's tradition and we hope to provide our fans with a fantastic experience when they come to see this very special show."
