PLÁCIDO DOMINGO

Katia Guerreiro is one of the most important representatives of Fado around the world. She is a renowned performer and recognized as a notable ambassador of Portuguese music. She has been a member of the European Parliament of Culture since 2005 and, in 2015, was awarded with the Comenda da Ordem do Infante D. Henrique, for her invaluable contribution in spreading Portuguese culture and projecting Portugal in the world.

Placido Domingo will be accompanied by Orquestra Sinfonietta de Lisboa, a portuguese orchestra that, since it’s foundation, in 1995, has already worked with great names of the musical industry. 

On stage, the famous tenor will also be accompanied by the soprano singer Micaëla Oeste, praised for her crystalline voice… with the chic and class of Grace Kelly, and with a guest appearance of Rita Marques, a Portuguese soprano from the Centre de Perfeccionament Plácido Domingo in Valencia, Spain.
