Ricky Gervais will perform on October 28 at Altice Arena with his show Armageddon.

Co-author and leading actor of the TV series The Office - the most successful British comedy series of all time, of Extra and more recently of After Life, Ricky Gervais has become of the most relevant names in humor worldwide.

Considered the most influential British comedian since Charlie Chaplin, he is also widely recognized for his stand-up shows - some of them you can watch in Portugal on Netflix.

This is already his 6th world tour and the first stop in Portugal. Ricky Gervais has sold out many of the biggest show rooms of the whole world. "When I was invited to present the iconic Hollywood Bowl, I said "What if it rains?" That's basically how English people think", says Ricky Gervais.

His last world tour - SuperNature - was a tremendous success and rapidly became one of the most watched comedy shows on the platform, which has also bought the rights to his new show - Armageddon, said to premiere on the platform on 2024.

Among his long list of awards, we can find three Golden Globes, two Emmys® and seven BAFTAs, as well as a reference on the Guiness Book of Records for the show with the highest number of downloads ever. In 2010 he was nominated by the TIME magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
