DELFINS - 40 ANOS

Delfins are announcing a concert celebrating their 40-year career. The reunion with fans will take place on April 6, 2024, at MEO Arena.

That evening, which will certainly remain in our memories, Miguel Ângelo, Fernando Cunha, Luís Sampaio, Rui Fadigas, Jorge Quadros and Dora Fidalgo get on the stage to gift the public with the band's most acclaimed songs - it's the group's party, but the gift is for us.

Besides the hits that are already integral part of the Portuguese DNA, like “Sou Como Um Rio”, “Baía de Cascais”, “Nasce Selvagem”, “A Cor Azul” or “1 Lugar ao Sol”, among many others, Delfins promise to bring several surprises to their fans, in this one-of-a-kind night.

The boys who used to rehearse in Cascais have grown up, and with them so did their talent. They have earned a permanent spot in national music with the merit and reputation that the public recognizes in them.

Duque Província will be the opening act for the evening.

Duque Província:

With roots in Cascais and Lisbon, it's in writing their own original songs that the band Duque Província has found a place in the portuguese music scene.
The four memebers – Henrique, António, Philippe e Francisco – carry on with the project, which takes inspiration from several places, both the 60s and the 70s, but also from other artists in their generation. Born between 1999 and 2002, the four of them approach 'indie-pop-rock' sonorities with fresh eyes and gather an increasingly bigger audience, generous with its praise for the versatility and irreverence demonstrated by the young band. Having already released an album (entitled "2023"), done several shows in many places (Festas do Mar, Sol da Caparica, Salão Preto e Prata, Casa da Música) and performed as an opening act for some of the most acclaimed bands of the national music scene (Quatro e Meia, twice already, D.A.M.A. and TAXI), they are now preparing to open the show for Delfins, celebrating 40 years of this legendary portuguese band's carrer. Included in "Novos Talentos Fnac 2022", Duque Província make a regular appearance in the top of Antena 3's charts and they are now working on a second album. Its first single, "Prata da Casa", has already been released and was very well received by the critics and the young audience that follows them.
